Day 1: Phong Nha - Khe Sanh (210 km - 6 hours riding)

After meeting and greeting your Easy Riders Vietnam tour guide(s) at the hotel where you stay in Phong Nha, we set off for our exciting motorbike tour, meandering our way into the pristine jungles that encompass the World Heritage Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. An amazing motorbike adventure! We strike through several significant locations where the bulk of North Vietnam’s soldiers and trucks crossed into Laos during the Vietnam War.

After lunch, we resume back our bike ride along the west of Ho Chi Minh Trail, through magnificent mountain passes and old-grown jungles. Today's motorbike journey is like a dream comes true for adventurers. We pass many isolated ethnic minority villages where you could experience the daily life of the locals - "the real Vietnam" that you don't see every day in your life. We arrive at Khe Sanh - the site of the former U.S Marine base and location of the famous siege that precluded the Tet Offensive in 1968. Check-in our hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2: Khe Sanh - Hue (190 km - 6 hours riding)
Day 2: Khe Sanh - Hue (190 km - 6 hours riding)

After a visit to the fascinating Khe Sanh Combat Base, Ta Con Airfield, and Khe Sanh Museum, we descend towards the coast. On the way, we take time to visit the historic Hien Luong Bridge, 17th Parallel was used to divide South and North Vietnam into 2 countries, the former DMZ and Vinh Moc Tunnels. It's an underground tunnel network that's used to be home to thousands of villagers during the Vietnam War. We continue our day riding along the peaceful flat country roads and the stunning Tam Giang Lagoon to get to the Imperial City of Hue, which lies along the banks of the Perfume River. We arrive at our hotel before sunset, check-in, and stay overnight.

Day 3: Hue - Hoi An (175 km - 5 hours riding)
Day 3: Hue - Hoi An (175 km - 5 hours riding)

After breakfast, we jump back on our motorbike and head east along the scenic coastal road. We ride through the small country back roads to reach the fishing villages where you could experience what the locals doing for a living. We stop to dip our toes into the sea, chat with fishermen and have some great rural life photos. Reaching the base of the mountain you’ll happen upon a stretch of pristine coastline of Lang Co Peninsula.

We continue our day by visiting Elephant Springs and make sure you have your camera handy as there are many photo opportunities at this site. You might want to jump into the beautiful natural lake at the bottom of the springs to refresh your body after a long ride.

We head south and climb up Hai Van Mountain Pass (also known as Vietnam Top Gear Pass), winding higher into the often cloud-shrouded skies. At the top, we take a break and witness the spectacular views of Vietnam's most scenic spots. We then continue to ride to Marble Mountain to encounter the beautiful scenery of the region and panoramic view of Da Nang City. Tra Que Vegetable Village is also well worth paying a visit before cruising into Hoi An ancient town in the late afternoon, to the hotel of your choice and finish our motorbike adventure.

Incredible experience with an amazing landscape

What an amazing trip with Tue and Phuoc from Hoi An to Phong Nha on the Ho-Chi-Minh-Trail! The landscape was amazing as well as our two guides, the food and the accommodation. We would recommend everybody to take a trip „Off the beaten track“ through the jungle and some villages. A truly incredible trip to see more of the local life. Thanks again, we felt safe all the time.

Best part of our trip in Vietnam!

My husband and I did the 3 day 2 night tour from Hoi An to Phong Nha via the Ho Chi Minh Trail and Hai Van Mountain Pass. This tour was AMAZING! We are visiting Vietnam on our honeymoon, and my husband insisted on taking this tour - im SO glad he did. This was the highlight of our trip. We traveled in October, and it was a little rainy, but it was still incredibly beautiful and wonderful. Our guides Nhat and Thinh were super professional and skilled drivers and guides. I never felt unsafe riding on the back or navigating the winding country roads. Thinh was also an expert in all things plants, so we got tons of super interesting information about the rainforest around us, and got to try some fruits and leaves straight from the plants! Nhat was fun and knowledgable as well, and brought so much laughter to our trip. We got to spend time in small local villages, and it felt like we really got to know more about Vietnamese culture and people. For the 3 days we spent on the back of the bikes, we didn't see a single other tourist. This is the definition of a tour that is 'off the beaten path'. We visited some waterfalls and other hidden gems in the jungle that we never would have been able to get to on our own. Nhat and Thinh were super knowledgeable, and shared lots of information about the areas we visited and their history. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Vietnam - it is a great way to see parts of Vietnam that most tourists miss, and to understand more about the local culture and people. You will be in good hands with these guys.

Amazing Easy Rider trip from Hoi An to Phong Nha

My friend and I, had the best time with Chinh and Dung. We did a 4 days 3 night option. They speak excellent English, really nice and funny guys. This is the best way to explore Vietnam. These guys know the roads, ethnic minority villages or where and what to eat like the backs of their hands. We love everything, every minute of the trip. We definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore the hidden Vietnam, taste the best food and see the spectacular landscape!
